Julia Sedykh designs publications for
museums, publishing houses, as well as
cultural and non-profit organizations
Before starting her own studio in
January 1999, she was the Design Manager
at Little, Brown and Company where
she designed a variety of books ranging
from cookbooks to complex illustrated editions
Prior to Little, Brown, she worked for
Selbert Perkins Design, a multidisciplinary
design firm in Cambridge, MA and for
Ligature, a Boston-based book
design company. Julia is a graduate of
the Rhode Island School of Design
She came to the United States in 1989 from
Russia, where she studied textile design
