Here, the design challenge was to create a very flexible grid to allow use of as many images as possible, yet still have a clean and uncluttered look. The intense orange and green color palette evokes tension and confrontation. The book won the Best of Illustrated Books Category in the 1999 Annual New England Book Show and was selected for the 1999 Stiftung Buchkunst show, the premier international book design exhibition held in Germany.
