This collection of Gypsy love and fortune spells published by Little, Brown and Company is designed as a rediscovered “old book.” Handwritten notes and small objects tucked between the pages speak of the intimate bond between the book and its “previous owner.” Three ribbons evoke colorful Gypsy costumes and dress up the book. In 1999 the book was recognized by Type Directors Club, the Art Directors Club of New York, and it won a Best of Show award in the BoNE Show (Best of New England).
